TAPPING, DIE CUTS, MILL SURFACE FLATENING, AND PINNING

 

Here are a couple photos of some threaded rods that have been CNC machined from ½” round bar 12L 14 mild steel. These same rods are also machined from ¾” round bar without the removable collar.

 

This particular rod is threaded to accept a 1/2” 13 Jam nut and lock nut. There is a ¾” collar on the rod which has been drilled and pined (roll pin) through the rod (for the ability to remove the collar). We have also flattened the other end by surface milling.

 

Whether it’s tapping, threading, flattening, drilling, pinning, we do it all with CNC precision.
